This week was full of work with the lights and visual improvements. We tried to illuminate objects, characters, monsters, floors, and the world in general. We’ve also improved the day and night cycle (which we showed you in the first post of this series) and the appearance of the floors. From now on, the light, colors, and shadows in the game look much more realistic and are more pleasing to the eye.
1. Visual improvements of the floors and lighting
The change of lighting and visuals of the floors of the Tower has been integrated with the passage of the day, it happens automatically without the player’s participation in this process.
The sun and moon move through the sky in a continuous cycle, constantly shedding light on the playing area. In addition, each floor is easy to distinguish at first glance – all thanks to the appropriate colors and lighting.
